Gold prices continued their upward trend both in Pakistan and on the global market for the sixth consecutive day, driven by ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the international price of 24-karat gold rose by $13, reaching $3,369 per ounce.
In the local market, the price of gold also surged. The rate for one tola of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,465, now standing at Rs358,456. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,256, reaching Rs373,25.
Meanwhile, silver prices saw a slight decline. The price of one tola of silver dropped by Rs11, settling at Rs3,785.
