Gold prices in Pakistan saw an uptick on Saturday, recovering from a decline in the previous session, as international rates also moved higher.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs1,465 per tola, reaching Rs358,465 in the local market. The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs1,256, closing at Rs307,325.
This comes after a drop on Friday, when gold prices fell by Rs1,595 per tola, ending the day at Rs357,000.
The international market mirrored the local trend, with gold prices rising by $13 to $3,369 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by APGJSA.
In contrast, silver prices dipped. The rate for silver fell by Rs11 per tola, settling at Rs3,785.
