Gold and silver prices in India have experienced a notable decrease today, continuing the trend of daily fluctuations in the bullion market. As of April 28, 2025, the price of gold is trending at Rs. 95,000 per 10 grams, while silver has also fallen to Rs. 96,000 per kilogram.
At the national level, 24-carat gold with 999 purity is priced at Rs. 95,420 per 10 grams. Silver, with 999 purity, is currently at Rs. 96,013 per kilogram. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs. 95,631 per 10 grams on Friday evening but has decreased by Rs. 211 to Rs. 95,420 per 10 grams as of this morning.

Based on the official information from IBJA, the current gold prices are as follows:
995 purity gold: Rs. 95,038 per 10 grams
22-carat (916) purity gold: Rs. 87,405 per 10 grams
18-carat (750) purity gold: Rs. 71,565 per 10 grams
14-carat (585) purity gold: Rs. 55,821 per 10 grams
Today, gold with 999 purity has become cheaper by Rs. 211, while 995 purity gold has dropped by Rs. 210. The price of 22-carat gold has decreased by Rs. 193, and 14-carat gold has fallen by Rs. 123. In addition, silver has seen a significant drop of Rs. 1,671.
